"Within minutes of opening Neck Diagrams for the first time, I was making cleaner, more effective diagrams for my students and Riff Of The Week episodes than I've ever been able to before. And best of all.... it's sooooo f'n easy!"
Has Neck Diagrams been telling you there's no update available when the website says 1.0.5 is ready?! Well, you'd better read this then!
If you downloaded v1.0.4 you may well find that it's refusing to auto-update to 1.0.5... it turns out there was a problem in the build process as a result of upgrading our systems to use a code signing certificate. Our mistake and we're very sorry indeed... what a headache! Actually this will also affect you for future updates if you have an early v1.0.5 - we've just pushed out v1.0.5c which is OK.
NOTE: If you've been running Neck Diagrams for a while and have been using the auto-update from v1.0.3 or earlier then you can breathe a sigh of relief as this issue won't affect you!
"So, how do I fix it" I hear you ask...
Well, there are two ways; one very straightforward, and one a little more involved.
Method 1
Just grab the latest version (1.0.5c)! Yup, simply go to the download page and grab the installer and reinstall. Simple!
or if you don't want to re-download for any reason...
Method 2
There are 3 files that got included as folders and also as .jar files (a kind of zipfile) - we don't want the .jar versions of them so we're going to delete them manually!
First close Neck Diagrams if it's running.
