New release nearly ready...

New Neck Diagrams Release  

The new version of
Neck Diagrams is nearly ready!

If you've subscribed to the newsletter you'll be getting an email letting you know when the update is ready and a breakdown of the new features.

We're aiming to make it available by next
weekend (7th Feb) so keep an eye out for it!

This has turned out to be quite a significant release with lots of great new stuff and fixes, but one down-side is that we have to put it out in two parts...

What this means is that if you're using the automatic update mechanism then you'll find that once you do the initial update, you'll get prompted to update again! It's very important that you download and install BOTH updates if you want to get all the new features.

So don't act all surprised the 2nd time the "New Update Available" window pops up! Laughing

Can't Wait for the update,

Can't Wait for the update, this is amazing software already. With the existing version is it possible to incorporate the note markers (triangle,circle square) into explanatory text, off of the fretboard diagram, so as to explain the diagram,

eg, triangle=Maj 3rd, but using the triangle marker instead of the word. This would be a great help, thanks if anyone can do it now

Hi! You probably already have the update :) This entry was posted before version 1.6 was released and we're now on 1.6.2 so make sure you have the latest version! You can take a look at the dates on the Version History page to check. Apologies for not updating the blog - we'll add a new post soon.

As for the idea of using a note marker that way, that's not something you can do yet. We'll add this to the list and see how we can add this for you!
