Thanks for sharing yet another document for all to use and learn from.

I personally don't use compound intervals in a scale shape/diagram and would use 2nd, 4th, and 6th instead here - especially as the harmony is using triads and not substitutions or extensions. The A(4th) could be an considered 11 over the E chord but would be a Root over the A. I ust htink it helps students to learn sequential formulas first before extended harmony

That's not to say I'm right in any way, one thing I've learned since joining Neck Diagrams several years ago, is that there are many variations across the globe when it comes to music in a written format.

But what do I know, I haven't had a chance to pick up a guitar lately, let alone change the rusty strings :rolleyes:
