In a text box, sometimes you could want to add more complete and complex comments referring to chords, scales and such using symbols. For example, you may want to include the same ones you use for the chord diagrams, i.e. solidd and hollow squares, triangles etc. You may also want to include chord symbols like a triangle to denote a Maj7, and so). An extra option could be possibly remembering the ones you most recently used.
Regards and keep up the excellent work!

Hi IGMartin,

Welcome to the forums!

You may also want to include chord symbols like a triangle to denote a Maj7, and so).

You can already do this in fact! ND2 supports a set of 'macros' which when typed get converted into musical symbols (and there's some for page numbers too).

These are described in the 'What's New in ND2' document in your Diagram Gallery and also in this forum post:

Macros in ND2 for entering musical symbols (https://www.neckdiagrams.com/forums/showthread.php/1231-Macros-in-ND2-for-entering-musical-symbols)

you may want to include the same ones you use for the chord diagrams, i.e. solidd and hollow squares, triangles etc.

This you can't do yet - but I'll raise a dev ticket as there's a way it could be done via our 'macro' system! There are actually Unicode symbols that match these shapes; for the time being until a macro is implemented for this, you could simply copy/paste the geometric symbol needed from this Wikipedia page:

Unicode Geometric Shapes (Wikipedia) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geometric_Shapes)

Hope that helps!
