Enter note names in the empty strings positions

Is it possible to enter the note names for the empty string positions EADGBE in the diagramms?
These remain empty with me.

Hi there,

You can enable this by default under the Window > Preferences > Fretboard menu. In there you'll see a
check the box labelled 'draw notes/intervals on open strings' and click Apply & Close.

thank you for the hint.
It works perfectly, but only in new created diagramms. But in existing diagramms there is unfortunately no affect or am I wrong?

Yes - Preferences are defaults that are used when creating new things. For existing documents you can change this in the Inspector as shown here:
