Neck Diagrams on MacOS Sequoia: Ready for the Upgrade?

Apple’s latest MacOS update, MacOS Sequoia, has arrived in September 2024, and you might be wondering if your favorite software will continue to work seamlessly. This is version 15 of the Mac operating system.

So, does Neck Diagrams run properly on MacOS Sequoia? The answer is YES!

We’re excited to share that the current 2.3.4 build is running flawlessly on Sequoia! Additionally, Apple has resolved the pesky bug that made the startup splash-screen appear upside down in Sonoma. With this glitch now fixed, you can use Sequoia with complete peace of mind. Enjoy a smoother, hassle-free experience!


What are the requirements for ND to run smoothly on Sequoia?

  • you should have the most recent version of Neck Diagrams installed, which currently is v2.3.4
  • versions older than v2.2.1 will not work properly, triggering repeated errors as of Big Sur
  • Neck Diagrams v1 (no longer supported) doesn’t work properly on Big Sur and this probably continues with Sequoia (v15).

The last ND1 release (v1.12) was in 2018 and all effort has been focused on ND2 since then, so if you’re an existing ND1 customer you can take advantage of the discounted ND1 to ND2 upgrade options
